About meIm am 21 years old, and love to read. Im really liking library thing so far and love the friends I've made here.

About my libraryMy library is very ecclectic. I love everything from history to fiction to Young Adult. Please do not insult my taste in books and I will not insult yours.

When I go a while without knitting and then suddenly knit like crazy again, my wrists and fingers will be a bit achy but that goes away after a while. Those muscles just aren't used to being worked so hard! Be sure to take stretch breaks often to prevent long-lasting injury, but other than that, just strengthen those knitting muscles!
I am so excited that you're knitting! I hope to see you on Ravelry too! :D

Keep trying! You won't love the first thing you make anyway. The first thing I attempted to make was a scarf and I don't think I ever used it even once. But your first piece is great practice!

I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you and Kitty. Love to both of you.
*big hugs*

One of the hardest things we ever had to do was make the decision to put down one of our cats. I know what you are going through. :o(

We have an aromatherapy section at work. Lavender and chamomile are supposed to be the best two fragrances to help people sleep. I will tell you some of our others: milk, honey, cinnamon, clove, and vanilla. These are more for relaxing and calming people than anything, though.
Do you stay in the house a lot? I used to a couple years ago so I developed problems sleeping for a while. Something I always consider when I have trouble sleeping is doing more during the day. Your brain gets very good exercise from reading, though, which can help exhaust you. Also taking a shower right before going to bed helps your body in the stages needed for sleep. Hopefully it is just something you are going through for the moment. There was a time when I would be awake maybe five full days each week, but I left those days behind with my teen years.
I hope you get some zzzs soon and that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Good luck and hugs your way.

Believe it or not, there are some sites that won't let me use the name Kerian because it's already taken. I've had to add numbers to my username on those sites. 'Kerian' was supposed to be the spelling of my real name. I like it because it's my real name though with fake spelling. ;) Did you know, the first half of my name (Carrie) means your real name! I think it's so much cooler to have a book by V.C. with your name in the title than a scary book like by Stephen King. ;)
I used to have all of V.C.'s books up until 2002. I wish I hadn't have had so many of them in storage or I would have been able to give them to you! My family lives with my grandparents and a year and a half ago everything we owned in storage was sold at an auction without my knowing. Just think how many books were lost! I could have opened my own tiny bookstore. Misfortunes that find us!
Well, it seems that I've managed to find five books on your wishlist, so they will be headed your way! I just checked your BM account to make sure you won't end up with two copies of anything and it looks safe! I never realized how many books we have in common.
Going your way are Petals on the Wind (Dollanganger 2), Garden of Shadows (Dollanganger 5), Rain (Hudson 1), Eye of the Storm (Hudson 3), and All That Glitters (Landry 3). And BM cards! I love their little bugs, don't you?
I am very sorry about work and wishing you lots of strength and offering big *hugs* I hope these books can cheer you some.

I just didn't want to start reading them until you finished because i didn't want to post and ruin the effect, until other folks have woken up and seen it. LOL!
I hope you can get some sleep now, you've earned it :-D
