That's great! It sounds like you're learning fast. Did you get books or just look stuff up online? I can't believe I didn't mention this before, but for all things knitting (like LT is all things books) there is Ravelry.com. It is a wonderful place -- loads of free patterns even for things I never imagined could be knitted, a great community of knitters and crocheters, experienced knitters who can answer questions and help with mistakes. I think it takes a couple of days to get signed up because they are trying not to kill their server but it is worth the wait. When I signed up it was like 3 days before I was official.

When I go a while without knitting and then suddenly knit like crazy again, my wrists and fingers will be a bit achy but that goes away after a while. Those muscles just aren't used to being worked so hard! Be sure to take stretch breaks often to prevent long-lasting injury, but other than that, just strengthen those knitting muscles!

I am so excited that you're knitting! I hope to see you on Ravelry too! :D
Yay! You are learning to knit! If you are stuck on anything feel free to ask me. Or there is a great site, knittinghelp.com that has videos of things so you can see it done, not just read how it should be done. It is very helpful. I still use it frequently!

Keep trying! You won't love the first thing you make anyway. The first thing I attempted to make was a scarf and I don't think I ever used it even once. But your first piece is great practice!
Hi! I am loving this site. I am spending way too much time on it. I now have 53 books on my to read list. Too many books, too little time.
Mel,
I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you and Kitty. Love to both of you.
*big hugs*
Ms Bella, I'm so sorry about your cat. {{hugs}}
One of the hardest things we ever had to do was make the decision to put down one of our cats. I know what you are going through. :o(

Hi-

I keep seeing your library is pretty similar to mine. I hope to see ya around :D.
Yey for writers' creative flow of words! Goodnight, Bella. I hope you sleep.
Thanks so much for The Book Thief! I can't wait to read it =DDD
Hey, a Twilight-themed profile! It looks nice! :)

We have an aromatherapy section at work. Lavender and chamomile are supposed to be the best two fragrances to help people sleep. I will tell you some of our others: milk, honey, cinnamon, clove, and vanilla. These are more for relaxing and calming people than anything, though.

Do you stay in the house a lot? I used to a couple years ago so I developed problems sleeping for a while. Something I always consider when I have trouble sleeping is doing more during the day. Your brain gets very good exercise from reading, though, which can help exhaust you. Also taking a shower right before going to bed helps your body in the stages needed for sleep. Hopefully it is just something you are going through for the moment. There was a time when I would be awake maybe five full days each week, but I left those days behind with my teen years.

I hope you get some zzzs soon and that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Good luck and hugs your way.
It's on your profile page. You'll need to edit your profile and add it.
Hi Bella, thanks for thinking of me but I already have "The cat who brought the house down" I believe I've read all the cat who books I love them but I don't think their will be too many more, She's pretty well exhausted the storyline. I guess thats the problem when you have just a small list of characters. Thanks again for the offer! I must get myself to the library!
Hee hee. They are pretty weird! I think we've bought cat tip nail covers at Pet Food Express. Pet's Smart might have them, too. I bet other places do as well. They come in different colors and can even be clear. I think the sizes are simply kitten and adult. They may have been around $20.

Believe it or not, there are some sites that won't let me use the name Kerian because it's already taken. I've had to add numbers to my username on those sites. 'Kerian' was supposed to be the spelling of my real name. I like it because it's my real name though with fake spelling. ;) Did you know, the first half of my name (Carrie) means your real name! I think it's so much cooler to have a book by V.C. with your name in the title than a scary book like by Stephen King. ;)

I used to have all of V.C.'s books up until 2002. I wish I hadn't have had so many of them in storage or I would have been able to give them to you! My family lives with my grandparents and a year and a half ago everything we owned in storage was sold at an auction without my knowing. Just think how many books were lost! I could have opened my own tiny bookstore. Misfortunes that find us!

Well, it seems that I've managed to find five books on your wishlist, so they will be headed your way! I just checked your BM account to make sure you won't end up with two copies of anything and it looks safe! I never realized how many books we have in common.

Going your way are Petals on the Wind (Dollanganger 2), Garden of Shadows (Dollanganger 5), Rain (Hudson 1), Eye of the Storm (Hudson 3), and All That Glitters (Landry 3). And BM cards! I love their little bugs, don't you?

I am very sorry about work and wishing you lots of strength and offering big *hugs* I hope these books can cheer you some.
Hi, Bella! I read that you like the Scarpetta books. Did you know there is a new book in the series coming out in December? Barnes and Noble's website says it will be called Scarpetta. One of my sisters loves the series and can't wait for it.

Glad you're back and that things are looking up! :)
Oh, Shade was in the July batch. I wouldn't worry about it at all yet. And don't worry, we give you at least a month's leeway, so not having reviewed the book for the preceding month so it won't hurt your chances for a new book!

Abby
Hi, Bella. I just wanted to say I've been thinking about you. I hope everything is okay and that things are looking up. Can't wait to hear how you are. *hugs*
It's fine Melody! I was very impressed with your Wall Of Ms_Bella, it's the best one yet! I was just saying today that there needed to be some more posts.

I just didn't want to start reading them until you finished because i didn't want to post and ruin the effect, until other folks have woken up and seen it. LOL!

I hope you can get some sleep now, you've earned it :-D
My Ms_B! I count 121 so far. Let me know when you have finished, won't you ;-D
