The old design is no longer fully supported nor does it get full attention when we roll out new features. We strongly recommend using the new design.
About meI remember as a young girl I had two great loves and that was playing piano and reading books. I would get a hold of a new book, curl up on a chair and read through 'le fini'. I don't know what happened, perhaps TV became increasingly popular in my household or the spirit of rebellion began to take hold as a teenager which diverted my attention to boys and staying out late nights. Either way, I stopped reading. The longer I stayed away from books, I noticed my vocabulary was dwindling. I no longer had the right words for what I was wanting to say and at that time, with text messaging on the rise, my vocabulary resorted to 'dude' and 'cool'. I began to pick up books again just over a year ago and came into rememberance of the love I felt sitting in those chairs for hours on end as a young girl. Although it has taken some time to get my mind to start 'thinking' again (remember television with it's vivid images and intense emotions is still just feeding us, there is no thinking or imagination involved) my mind has resumed to normality and I am no longer at a loss for words. Anyhow, my neighbor referred to me this wonderful website where I can log the books I have read, discuss my opinions with other people that enjoy books and continue to develop this wonderful brain that God has given me.
