About meI'm 24 lost my way in life not having had my plan to be a minerologist work out, so now i'm unemployed and look after my grandad on a weekend. My next plan is to be a librarian but without some money ie. a job I can't move forward with that.
After books my second hobby is my mineral/gem collection, I even have a diamond courtesy of my ex-fiance, I extracted it from the ring when he left me for another woman.
About my libraryI like Fantasy and Science Fiction mostly, nearly exclusivley. Although my Mum has a lot of classical stuff by Austen, Hardy, Brontes, and Defoe that I can read
There are 100 or so childrens books which I read as a child on this list (that are now my younger brother's books) quite a lot of Blyton.
I did a degree in Geochemistry hoping to be a minerologist, so there are a few books related to that as well.
My Book list was in an Excel document and I transfered them over here using the ISBN's in a week or so, but as most of the data came from Amazon, I had to fix a lot of it. Should be mostly fixed now covers, names, dates etc.

My weekends are hectic until early July sometime, but weekday evenings should be mostly ok, or lunch in/around Manchester centre.

Of all Kay's works, Tigana was my least favorite (I preferred Lions of Alrassan) but that seems to be the case - either people love Tigana or love it less - all his works are worthy, and among my favorites.
It's quite interesting, the books we share - if those were favorites of yours, I think you may enjoy the works mentioned, by Jane and her collab. as Gabriel King.
Interesting, too, we share a love of minerals.

I noticed from the combining history log that you'd recently combined some of the Robert Silverberg Legends Volume 1 items. Letting you know that some of those are actually only half the vol. 1 (kind of books a & b of the larger TB/HC). They have similar titles but should be separate from the full book.
I've separated them out, but thought it polite to explain why for future reference. Any questions, please feel welcome to send a comment, thanks ryn
PS. I noticed we have a few books that overlap, especuially in fantasy/science fiction.. I'd noticed you had some Chelsea Quinn Yarbro books. I'd welcome your opinion on her books as I've seen them instore but they're not at my library. Cheers, ryn
