About meI was a grants manager for a crisis center in Central, TX for four years. I am now a stay at home mom. My goal for last year was to read at least 50 books. This year it is to make sure to read adult books and not just Boynton board books.
I also run a a book club that is going on its third year.

About my libraryMy library is relatively new since I had to get rid of a lot of books before I moved to Texas. Over the last four years I have begun to build my collection back up. I have mostly fiction novels, but have a lot of books from my classes in undergrad and graduate school. I usually get obsessive about an author and read everything they have ever written.

Noticed you liked The Virgin Suicides, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks for adding me.
Hi, I just joined this site. I noticed that you're interested in parenting books. Have you read The Ultimate Guide for Stay at Home Parents? Here's a link: http://www.ulitmateparents.blogspot.com
I've never been to Austin, but the music and film culture there seems absolutely wonderful. Are you enjoying yourself there?
I just saw that you live in Texas. Maybe if I would read... ;)
Hi! I'm so glad that you found me. I like your collection, too! Are you still living in Michigan?
Our book lists are very similar including the social service-related books. It would be great to link up because it's likely that we would each like what the other person reads. I am also a social worker, currently in grad school at Columbia. I wonder if a lot of social workers like similar books? I'm going to check out the social workers group mentioned above to check it out.
Hi, Kelly! Yes, I have son with ADHD. It's very challenging, especially with school, but we work hard with him every day, and it shows! Your library makes me want to dust off those Margaret Atwood books that I was supposed to read in college!

Nice to meet you!
Jill
Dear chick-lit reader,

I’m a belgian university student that loves chick-lit. Would you like to help me with my thesis and write to me why you (personally) like reading chick-lit? What is it about chick-lit that appeals to you? What are your favourite books and why? Your help would mean a lot to me!

Best wishes,

Ester Wellens

Hi-

Thanks for joining the social workers group!

Our collections of social work books are strangely similar. Any chance you went to school in Detroit?
