About meI am a self taught Student of Nature and Amateur Historian and Geologist. I am fascinated with the cycles of nature. I adore the outdoors and hiking, backpacking and camping. I enjoy hands on opportunities to explore nature and history.
I dream of traveling to near and far protected areas where people are working together to preserve and/or restore natural environments and the histories that go with them. I enjoy learning about human history, but have more interest in pre-modern events and cultures. I adore museums big and small, roadside exhibits, interpretive trails, maps, road trips, books, documentaries and wine tasting.

Looks like our libraries have lots in common. I see you have The Complete Idiot's Guide to Wicca and Witchcraft. I also have The Complete Idiot's Guide to Spells and Spellcrafting. Excellent book if you haven't seen it yet, and I highly recommend it.
Your comments remind me of myself in the fact that I am a Green Witch and blessed that my yard backs up to a forest, which is full of faeries, the most enchanted place. No matter what happens during the business day I can walk into that forest and feel completely at home and refreshed. I am also a gardener and have done feral cat rescue for 30+ years. Nature and her critters are very dear to me. Plus I am also a fire sign (Aries). We are Wiccan sisters for sure in many ways! :)
