About meI am an avid reader of almost any subject although I confess a slight predisposition to history, art, religion and philosophy. I also have a background in science. I review books largely as a thought and writing exercise and my reviews can be found here on LibraryThing as well as on Amazon.
I have just completed my Doctoral Thesis in Computer Science and Robotics and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Biomedical Engineering.

Thanks. Yes, I was interested in your collection after browsing it a bit. I actually discovered you via your review of Alamut (we shared a read/review). I saw we had similar interests and tastes in a few reading subjects (I have a history degree and a specialty in philosophy, so I guess they trend that way).
Plus I'm interested in what you currently study. I must admit I was hoping we could discuss some issues, especially robotics, because I am currently writing a new adventure series which features a character who is supposed to be a robotic engineering genius. I am not, hence I wanted to pick your brain.
At any rate, that's the reason. If we could have a few conversations, that would be most welcome. Email is kurvanas@thomasfortenberry.net
Cheers,
Thomas
