She lives 2 blocks from me and riled up the neighborhood when her landscape people ripped out all the plants and bushes around her house -- because that wasn't her yard, it is a public park (actually, it is a street, but it is so steep that it is stairs and is all landscaped like a park). They ripped out all these really old hydrangia bushes that were almost 20 feet tall, and a formal knot garden with fancy rosemary and thyme hedges. She apologized and said it was a mistake and that she would replace it all. Of course. And she did replace it. It looks very nice. But, it doesn't look like it used to -- she had it all redesigned the way she wanted it. Don't tell me it was a "mistake"!
If course, that didn't stop 99% of San Franciscans from voting for her.
