Nice review of Spare Key. Just reading your review, I can tell it's my kind of thing at all. That extreme stuff just bothers me too much.

Nice job pointing out the difference (even if it is a very fine and at times hard to distinguish line) between horror and exploitation, though good luck to the author.

Long live the Grosstitution! Great library, Nick. I'm new here, but quickly acclimating. Should we start a Shockliners group here or something? -- Mike Arnzen

I'm a Christian who loves reading the Puritans, Reformers, and most old-school thinking modern writers such as James R. White, John MacArthur, and Dr. Robert Morey. I also happen to enjoy fiction, so deal with it! Horror and anything different and unusual, such as novels by authors like Tom Piccirilli, Gary A, Braunbeck, and D. Harlan Wilson. I also do much research for my own writing, which is why you'll see me reading some military and religious history.
