About me I am just starting at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. I'm new to the area . . . and Canada so it is all a fun adventure. I'm studying for my PhD in physical anthropology. I'm pretty excited about it. Apart from being a student I also teach anatomy and anthropology.

I have a MS in Forensic Anthropology from Michigan State University. I went to Beloit College for undergrad. I majored in Anthropology and minored in museum studies and European Studies (pretty much European History). I will soon be moving to Edmonton, Alberta to study Anthropology at the University of Alberta and finally get my PhD.

I love books and movies and music and all things fun and entertaining. I try to have fun as much as possible, learn as much as possible (since its fun), and laugh as much as possible. I love to understand how things work and choose to believe some of it is magic anyway.

About my library I've added quite a few of my books at this point. So many of my books are in attic storage until I have a place where I can have a library . . . I add what I remember and what I just got new or what I find in the boxes as I move.

You are so right! :)
Hi Nikki!
Thanks for inviting me! I see we like some of the same authors. I'm just getting started adding my books into my library. It's quite a task. I noticed you enjoy Anne McCaffrey. She's one author we have in common.

Hey,

When the Gods are Silent is a very good book. It is one of Jane's earlier works so it is not as complex although still a very good read. I should start rating my books but the majority of them I read so long ago I don't remember if they were good or not! The book is probably not in print anymore. I recommend checking out abebooks.com, a great resource for out of print books. Watch out for the shipping costs and condition of the books though.
Thank you! I am a little bit of a tagging addict.
Hey there, to link to my message boards I used the following code just above the ticker factory code

Thanks for the nice review. I'm glad you liked it. REALLY glad.
I just finished The Symphony of Ages last night, and it was wonderful! Thank you so much :)
Hey, I hope you enjoy them! The main book isn't the first book of the series - but that was over my limit unfortunately. I haven't received mine yet so don't know what mine are yet - I'm excited wondering - it was a great idea. let me know what you think after you've read them...
We share some of the same authors...
I totally agree with your review of Camus' The Stranger - I don't find it depressing, either, but sad, beautiful and delightfully strange...
