About meThe profile picture is of my kitty - Griz Bobby (she is a girl though).

I love all things books. I work, part time in a library, but unfortunately, because I live in Montreal, our publicly funded libraries have to split the funds 70% French content and 30% English content - which leaves me with fewer choices than most of you.

I therefore scour sites for books - especially ARCS!!!

I have reviewed books for many sites, as well as for our local library newsletter. I do reviews in both English and French and as long as I have a book in my hand - I AM HAPPY!

While I use to read mainly thrillers, over the course of the last 5 years, I have noticed a definite shift towards non fiction (including memoirs), chick lit, recovery books, personal finance and teen books (they never use to write them like this when I was younger). I still love my thrillers though!

About my libraryMy little library (where I volunteer part time) is a little treature - it has a great collection of both English and French books.

Because the head librarian is French, I have been asked to submit a list of English books to purchase every month - and the librarian will usually end up buying 90% of my suggestions.
