I list reading on my CV as one of my hobbies. I spend a lot of time flying around the North so I go through a great deal of mind-candy, but I also occasionally settle down with a "good book". While living in the North provides me with plenty of time to read, I miss going to book stores. Finding LibraryThing and being in touch with other booklovers (albeit at second hand) has been a great find. About my libraryLots of mysteries (see mind-candy reference above), history, some philosophy and popular science and anything else that strikes my interest when I trawl through the bookstore on my trips south. I came across your name on a 75 book challenge person's page where you left them a message, just to give you an idea of how i came to your page. i like to read people's reviews as I am interested in writing the best reviews I am capable of. I'm not sure I achieve that, but I wanted to let you know that because of your review of The Victorians by A.N. WilsonI will now try to get hands on it and After The Victorians as they sound delightful. Thanks.Mary Beth
