About meAfter setting aside reading for many years following my completion of school, I was hooked back into books after reading John Adams by David McCullough and especially Eastward to Tartary by Robert Kaplan. Now, I'm a confirmed bibliophile, though I never have time to read all that I want (small children in my house, you know!).

I've tagged the books I want to read into a dozen or so categories and try to rotate through each successively.

I prefer non-fiction but throw in a good fictional thriller or classic every so often to give myself a break.

The library is among my closest friends, and the books I actually own pale in comparison to those I've borrowed.

I average fourteen to fifteen books a year with a peak of 28 completed in 2004. Twenty completed so far in 2007.
