About meA Dane living in Switzerland and working as cataloguer in one of the libraries you can search from LT. Except that it's not working. :(

About my libraryStill a long way to go before all my books are in.

sunny's books are on the same shelves as mine. I might even have a few of them in my catalog. ;)

Hejsa.
Det ville være mig til stor glæde..
Mvh. Elisa
Hvorfor er jeg ikke spor overrasket over at finde dig a) her og b) på toppen af listen med danske tilrettelser?

Mvh / Ole (SG V)
:-P
Hej Otto

Terrific work on the Danish translation, Ottox!
I can tell you what books they are, though. From the bottom up, then:

Rise Up Singing, edited by Peter Blood
Accents: A Manual for Actors by Robert Blumenfeld
Banned Plays, edited by Dawn Sova
Chaucer's Knight by Terry Jones
The Salmon of Doubt by Douglas Adams
Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss
Latin for All Occasions by Henry Beard
The Liar by Stephen Fry
Ok, so 'blaffer' is Danish for hitchhiker? Learn something new every day. What does 'vakse' mean?

A H2G2 translation was published here some time before the movie (what did you think of it btw?), but I haven't read it. I can't imagine how a translation could do the original with its puns and everything justice.
Congratulations on winning the book stack thing! Nice stack. :-)
Hei og gratulerer! Fantastisk idé som var flott gjennomført =)

Oh, and the Danish title for H2G2 - "Håndbog for vakse galakse-blaffere"? Pure genius ;-)
Congratulations! :-D
As I've never had to catalog a journal in Swiss German I wasn't sure at all and had to look it up in KIDS. You're absolutely right, NEBIS did switch to gsw.
Btw, I work at the ETH Zürich in the journals department and for a few more months also for the Konsortium der Schweizer Hochschulbibliotheken (where the UB Basel is also part of).
