Actually just read another of your reviews, of that execrable Letter to a Christian Nation: "religion as a balm is a concomitant of the liberal capitalist order, one that they are signed up to unreservedly" - wonderfully put.
Hi - you wrote a very good and positive review of I Am Alive And You Are Dead, yet awarded the book only 1 1/2 stars? Curious as to why?
In this review you say "As Blake, if memory serves, said: 'The proper subject of man, is man'." I think you mean Pope and "The proper study of mankind is man".
This is just to say that your reviews, or at least the ones that I completed, were very good. I'm not a big science fiction man but I have enjoyed Stapledon, Taine, Dick, on occaison. Also very exciting to experience your downright niggardliness with those rating stars. I just mindlessly punch the optimum, when I should rather be mum. You've got me thinking about my deplorable practice. I especially enjoyed your reviews of John Fowles. Have you read WORMHOLES? A very good book in my humble estimation. Welcome to LT.
