I don't know how the feature is now, but when it was new, it was very difficult to make the suggested view stick at anything but A. I gave up and let A be my suggested view, using E for my private usual view.

You have a lot of local history for the North of England, have you family connections there? I grew up in Lancashire, near Blackburn.
