About my libraryMy library is a grand mixture of subjects. I rarely pass a bookstore. (Or a library, for that matter.) My personal library reflects that. I have been working on a minimalist catalog of my books for months. When it began to encroach on 3,000 volumes, I did some serious culling. Now I think it is less than 2,000. The single most predominant subject in my library is kniiting, but it also contains historical volumes, computer books, and reference items. The list goes on... GroupsKnitters Inc. Your friend (and now mine too) lindapanzo said you had joined us here. I just thought I stop in and say HI and welcome!
I, too, am retired and spend most of my time on reading, needlework(counted cross stitch mostly) and family projects. My big family project this year is to take all the photographs that my husband's parents had in their apartment and scan them into my computer and make copies for all his siblings. There were over 8000 but I've gotten it down to about 5000 eliminating duplicates. When sit down to start the scanning process, I plan on having about 10 books lined up on audio so I can keep reading while I work.
So, do you just knit, or do you crochet and needlepoint, what?
I took a look at your library and I saw some interesting books. I noticed Patterns of murder by Monica Ferris. I just finished it this month and really enjoyed it. What did you think about it?
I hope that we can be friends since we share Linda. Take care and have a great weekend. Stay warm!
