About meOld enough to know better, I'm still involved in a Stupid Boy Project to read all 58 original Hardy Boys stories. I've even started blogging it for some reason!
I'm also married with one kid.
And I'm a software developer but that's not half as interesting as the other stuff.

About my libraryI worked for HarperCollins Publishers in Bishopbriggs for three years straight out of uni. They had a bookshop on-site that sold returned books from bookshops for as little as 25p. Cue impending bookshelf inadequacy. In short order my bedroom was stacked high with books, some of which I planned to read during my retirement. For example: I managed to collect almost the entire works of Agatha Christie. I've read one of them.
The last year has seen a merciless cull and a sudden, unexplained influx of detective fiction and sci-fi in several local charity shops. And that was before I discovered BookMooch!
I now have a much more manageable collection but I still have doubts about whether I'll have read Asimov's Foundation Saga before I'm pensioned off.

Noticed you liked Clockwork Orange, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a group of violent kids (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

And I haven't been on for awhile, either. A few months I guess.
Hey, Paul. It's Spencer (WHLfan) from the HB Wiki.
