About meHi fellow writers, aspiring writers, poets and readers. Thank you for reading my wonderful books. I am a retired teacher, Librarian and Behavior Change program owner and instructor in the great state of Georgia. I live in the woods with my dog, Red Dog, a cat named Sam and 5,000 birds, alligators next door and a ghost who goes bump in the night! I speak to classes, groups and schools and am excited about my next book which is due out in 2010!
About my libraryIn my library are thousands of books. Of course, the ones I've written: TEN COWS TO TEXAS and THERE COME A SOLDIER, both childrens books and the adult romance novel, published in the 80's, STRANGERS IN EDEN. I also read my favorite authors: TERRY KAY, ANNE RICE, and Ricky Bragg. I will add more to this list soon! Stay tuned, beep beep!

Small as a peanut,
Big as a giant,
We're all the same size
When we turn off the light.
Rich as a sultan,
Poor as a mite,
We're all worth the same
When we turn off the light.
Red, black or orange,
Yellow or white,
We all look the same
When we turn off the light.
So maybe the way
To make everything right
Is for God to reach out
And turn off the light!
