About meI'm 25 years old and a library aide. I'm also in library school.

Anyway, books are one of life's true joys.

Some favorite quotes from books:

"If she wasn't god, she was everything god should be" --Sati by Christopher Pike

"I don't understand but I can learn if you will teach me"--The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell

"They were all so beautiful in their pain and like angels when they died" --Dark Rivers of the Heart by Dean Koontz

"It remembered that much--humans are not for eating" --Monster by Christopher Pike

About my libraryThese are only books I've read, not neccesarily books I own. Things will be added all the time, since I've usually got 2 or 3 books going at any given moment. Some I read for work or school, but most are for pleasure.

One star means I hated it.
Two I disliked it.
Three it's alright, nothing to write home about.
Four I liked it and would read it or something like it again.
Five I loved it and you need to read it RIGHT NOW while I read it again.

I suppose that's the way I wish bookstores would group their books. There could be a subsection in SciFi, for example, for "Ass Kicking". I see you have some goth books. Check out my "Baby Goth" tag; books for kids about zombies, skeletons....I love dark books for kids.
Best tag I've seen in a while: "Ass Kicking"
Hi, Oh Yeah! I love the Nightside! I think I would go there if I could. Don't wanna live there, but I wouldn't mind visiting.Needless to say, I'd want lots of magic weapons & defenses!
Wow, what a collection =o
i love all the books in your library and hope to read them someday but i have a feeling that they are not in my library and i probably would have a hard time finding them. i hope that soon my library will have meaningful interesting books like yours. please comment back
THANK YOU! My Library Thing Secret Santa book arrived, and I love it! Mmmmm ... where to start? Where to start? I know ... something with chocolate. :)

Thank you, I really do appreciate it. I see plenty of interesting recipes that cry out for testing.

Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Thanks for sharing! I haven't read either of those, so I'll definitely have to check them out.

Here’s wishing you a fantastic day filled with fabulous fates, fanciful festivities, and frolicking phantom footstools.

-Jeremy :)
Hi! I noticed that we share a few of the same favorite authors.

If you don't mind sharing--I was wondering, what's your favorite novel of all time?

Here’s wishing you a weekend filled with wacky whims, wonderful weirdness, and well-disposed werecats.

-Jeremy :)

PS--I'm happy to see that you gave Hitchhiker's Guide five stars. That's one of my favorites.
We share quite a lot of books. I'll have to look over your library more carefully when time allows. Thanks for thinking my library is "interesting" enough. It's only the books I own (you can thank working @ Borders for the pleasant discount). I really want to include those I've read but my memory fails me so and I do not wish to invalidate my list, no matter how trivial the transgression might be. Okay, enough rambling from me...

Postscript: Love that you quoted The Sparrow. I need to buy my own copy one o' these days.
Hi. Just thought I'd drop by and check out your library. I love your "ass-kicking" tag, btw. :D
Can I tell you how much I adore the fact that these are books that you have read? I don't think that I have words for it. We share so many more books than it shows because I only started my list from Jan 06, so mine are the books that I have read since then. Love love love your library, and thanks for adding mine to your "interesting" pile!
hello and welcome to librarything. I see we have much of the same tastes. I have a feeling I will be raiding your library for many things to read! Happy reading.
