About me Newspaper photo-journalist, book reviewer, addicted reader, and writer of serialized children's mysteries and adventure stories. Ex-theater photographer, horse owner, and... current grandma (and loving it).
About my library I like mysteries foremost, and prefer soft-boiled, cozy and puzzle types. (I even like kid's mysteries!) Horror haunts me, and so do some thrillers. Police procedurals or detectives are fun if not too gritty. Noir puts me in a blue mood. (I hate explicit language, violence and sex.) I like series mysteries and try to begin at the beginning and read till the end. I do lots of audio books while doing yard work, cleaning horse stalls or traveling.
