Hildegaard of Bingen was a twelfth-century mystic, composer, and
author of a theology that knitted together nature and spirit, cosmos
and soul. She described the Holy Spirit as the Greening Power of
God. Just as plants are greened, so we are as well. As we grow up,
our spark of life continually shines forth. If we ignore this spark, this
greening power, we become thirsty and shriveled. And if we respond
to the spark, we flower. Our task is to flower, to come into full blossom
before our time comes to an end.

Novel One: set in the bayous of southwestern Louisiana, it's a spy novel and romance.
Novel Two: medical mystery with a murder for hire twist. It is a fictional account of a true story. Involves ob/gyn.

Have you read any of Patricia Cornwell mysteries. I have read everyone but the latest. I was hoping to get the new novel for Christmas but Santa didn't bring it. Santa instead brought me a book and workbook on writing. I also wanted that so I am not complaining. I'll just get the book after I have finished my research for book two.

Weather here has been perfect. Hope your day is perfect too.

Happy Chinese New Year (Monday)

Betty
Dear Pirate,
What genre do you like to read? I read murder mysteries, historical romance, mainstream fiction, loads of children's books (former elementary school librarian and new grandmother, romance. I am currently writing two works of fiction with publication scheduled in 2 years.

Nicole,
I got the book- thanks so much! I can't wait to read it.
Colleen
PirateColey,
I'd be interested in Losing My Religion if it is still available.
Thanks!
Colleen
I use Goo Gone. I usually find it in a grocery store. It is also good in removing marker off covers, as well as grime.
Ahoy me hearty! As a member of the Pirate Brotherhood me be inviting ye to sail the Seven Seas with William Dampier on a Buccaneering Adventure. There be treasure galore and fine spoils to be had. We sail with the tide on 3rd November, so be sure to be aboard by then.

Hi PirateColey! Thank you so much for your kind words about Veil of Roses. I am indeed working on my next book and I am as "in love" with the new characters as I was with those in Veil of Roses. You can read the first chapter on my website under "What's New."

I see we're read a lot of the same books! I'm reading Nick Hornby's HOW TO BE GOOD at the moment, and quite enjoying it.

Best, Laura
