I do that too (buying books I already have). LT hasn't cured the problem but it's certainly helped.
Oh my! New to the Green Dragon and LibraryThing as well? Welcome!
Just nipping across to say a proper welcome. LibraryThing has been my downfall and it's only fair to warn you that it might well be yours too. Recommendations are far too easy to find and chats about books you've never heard of are too tempting to ignore. When I joined LT a couple of years ago I only owned a couple of books I hadn't yet got round to reading, now I have well over 200. Until somebody invents a brain implant that allows me to read faster than I can buy I don't see that situation changing much in the near future either! Hope you have a good time here, though. You'll find it completely addictive but then, at least you'll never be bored again.
