About mecount among my worst faults an insatiable appetite for knowledge and meeting people. It was only natural that I gravitated toward journalism.
Since 1987 as the Principal Consultant in Faulkner & me (www.faulknerandme.com), I complete financial and speech writing assignments.
I describe myself as a free market lover, capitalist cheerleader, and qualified to carry an American Civil Liberties Union card. I champion bold failures, chaos, information democratization and unfettered individual liberty.
I write with the wit of H. L. Mencken, pragmatism of Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., insight of Ralph Waldo Emerson, exhaustive attention to detail and language of Tom Wolfe and logic of C. S. Lewis.
Born in Buffalo, N. Y, I was awarded a MA degree from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY and a BA degree cum laude from Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan.
