I understand completely, Jen. I joined Dec. 30 last year and spent the rest of my vacation and well into January cataloging my books. It was like an obsession! But it is so nice now to have that catalog--something I have been planning to do for years but the task seemed overwhelming. LT makes it so easy--especially if you spring for the bar code reader.

Jim and I had fun reading from our libraries--I continued to do it and keep track for the rest of the year. I have about 300 more pages and I will have read 15,000 pages from my personal library in 2008. It's been fun and I plan to do it again next year--I have a lot of books I have been intending to read for years!

We had a nice visit with Jim and Valerie over Thanksgiving and I had a chance to read some stuff from his library--including my first ever graphic novel (unless you count the comic books I read as a child).

If you want to see some of the books I've read this year I have them entered with comments on my thread in the 75 Books Challenge for 2008.

I'll check back in January and see what else you have entered into your library!

Carolyn
Hi, Jen--

I thought this might be you (you are a "friend" on JimPAX's LT Profile). Just wanted to leave a greeting. I hope things are going well with you in St. Louis and that you are looking forward to a merry Christmas. I enjoyed visiting your library.
