I don't need first editions or rare books, though I do prefer hardbacks to paperbacks when possible. Lately I've been buying a good many ex-lib editions of books I own in paperback. I'm a chronic re-reader as well as a spine-breaker, and library editions tend to have sturdier bindings. About my libraryI like all kinds of different sorts of authors and specific books. Once I find a book I like, I do tend, though, to try and read more by that author. My father calls me a completist when it comes to authors, and when I read a book I like I want to own it. Therefore, I have a good many books though not as many as I wish I had. GroupsE. F. Saw you liked Trainspotting, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reading my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). Thought you might like my novel since it's also about a group of disturbed kids and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
