About me I recently finished my PhD studying bacteria that eat pollution. I have a postdoc in Montana studying the bacteria in Yellowstone Lake. I'm looking at the microbes in the surface waters and in the volcanic vents at the bottom of the lake. What little free time I have is devoted to reading, my two cats, and my large anime collection.

About my library Mostly it is science fiction and fantasy, but there is a significant amount of mysteries, history, and science. My unread pile has grown dramatically in the last few years as my acquisitions have increased while my time for fun reading has greatly decreased due to graduate school.
