About meI am hiding behind a kiwi.

About my libraryMostly I like a good honest story, so my library abounds with those. I am, however, also in possession of a number of Sociology and Psychology books, because they were my concentrations in college, and because they tell their own unique types of stories. I'm pretty sure it says something about my library that its prize members are original release copies of both Kinsey reports.

Noticed you liked The Virgin Suicides, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Mother, Father, God, Universal Power.
Remind us daily of the sanctity of all life.

Touch our hearts with the glorious oneness
Of all creation,
As we strive to respect all the living beings on this planet.

Penetrate our souls with the beauty of this
Earth,
As we attune ourselves to the rhythm and
Flow of the seasons.

Awaken our minds with the knowledge to
Achieve a world in perfect harmony
And grant us the wisdom to realize that we
Can have heaven on earth.

I figured it was something like that. That's a really great tag, made me laugh.
Sounds good to me. I'll start a new post.
Thanks for reading my review! I agree with much of what you say, especially how repetitive the book was. It was a challenge to make it through the first 100 pages, but it did get a little better as things went along.
