About meDear Reader,

I am very pleased to introduce myself. I am a modern day author and philosopher who grew up on the beautiful West Indian island of Jamaica. Like most kids there, I attended Sunday school on a regular basis to get my share of Christian indoctrination and even did a stint teaching my brand of morality to classes. I was exposed to many of the various Christian religious denominations, but went mostly to an Anglican church dear to my Scottish father.

I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and love to read. I have even read the Bible from cover to cover several times. I always look at things from a logical perspective and as a result my friends sometimes find it annoying that I was always arguing, contradicting, supposing, and questioning them about everything in my search for truth. At an early age I developed a great analyzing technique and method of cross-checking facts based on the relevance and relationship of the information at hand. I honed this talent into almost a sixth sense that enables me to quickly spot illogic. It is also a key component in my successful career as an Information Technology developer who programs in several computer languages.

I migrated to the United States where I have spent most of my adult life. Here, I continue to fearlessly speak my mind about politics and religion. It all centers on my core belief that man should always strive for truth and justice for all. It continues to disturb him greatly that simply because something is religion-based, any relevant idiocy, mediocrity, insanity, or depravity is acceptable. However, I firmly believe nothing should be exempt from careful analysis and as a result I authored my first book Then Man Created God – The Truth about Believing a Lie.

What Is Your Excuse for Believing in Praying?

Because every time I pray, fish fall out of the sky. Has this not been your experience?
Hi,
I like your "about me", but there's a bit that doesn't seem quite right. In the sentence in the last paragraph beginning "It continues to disturb him greatly that simply ..." it's not clear to me who "him", which I bolded, refers to. It suppose it must be "man" in the previous sentence, but that's "man" meaning "mankind" or "humanity", and to refer back to it as "him" bothers me a little. Perhaps this is a dialect difference, or have I misunderstood something?

It will be interesting to see what other books on religion and rationality you catalog.
