a myriad of reasons....for such an ecelctic gathering of tomes. My father was a Cheyenne Hobo and my mother a Cajun WiseWoman, Grandfather was a Berdache. None of them were allowed entry into the public school systems of the time 1900-1910's, and so they spent the better part of thier lives as functioning illiterates. My brother was a student in a nearby monastery, and as such, other family members were given access to a free monastic education...sort of ROTC with roseries and wool robes...lol...9 years I stayed, learning about prechristian history and that in turn lead to Fraziers Golden Bough, and while researching the pagan origins of most modern catholic high holy days. developed a keen interest in all things Celtic... except the the basketball stuff..lol

Got out of the monastery, spent nearly a decade traveling the worlds holy sites and found a deep vibratory resonance with my celtic blood in places like Tara, Newgrange, Stonehenge, etc...(my father was 1/2 cheyenne and 1/2 irish...good mix eh??) My travels took me to becoming a performer of folk music and teller of tales...and that in turn has led me to be the Information Specialist I am today...ta-daaahhhh!...

I especially like to learn the reasons 'why' for certain superstitions...and utilize this found knowledge in my performances and presentations.
So, here I am at 56...an amalgam of mixed ethnicities, multiple cultures, bent gender, mutable spiritualities - a lover of life and all that it encompasses...and I love my books!!!
ahhh, Joseph Campbell, Deepak Chopra and Kate Hepburn!...a bit of celtic and some essential oils and you have a very interesting take on things!!!
