About meI was born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I somehow ended up as a criminal lawyer in the Canadian Arctic. I spend many long nights in tiny hotel rooms and many long days in tiny airports. I tend to chew through books on a weekly basis and I like to read more than one at a time. My hobbies are writing descriptions about myself for web pages and filling out on-line forms.

About my libraryI often go through random phases - early horror writing, historical non-fiction, trashy spy thrillers, sci-fi classics, metafiction, mathematical texts - that last three or four books. These are usually started from recommendations of friends and then fueled by 'must-read' lists from the internet.
