About meRobert Dunbar is the author of the supernatural thrillers THE PINES and THE SHORE as well as of the collection MARTYRS & MONSTERS. All have achieved extraordinary levels of critical acclaim, but dark fiction has only recently become the principal focus of Dunbar’s career.

He has written articles for publications as diverse as Art & Understanding, Cineaste, Dance Magazine, On Stage and Writers Digest. Both his fiction and his poetry have appeared in scores of literary journals, including the internationally acclaimed Descant. Several of his plays have been produced in regional theatres, and one of them – the comedy BATS – has been published in book form. Dunbar has also written and produced for public television and has scripted programs for The Discovery Channel, PBS, The Travel Channel and HGTV.

Interviewed and profiled by dozens of newspapers and magazines, and a frequent lecturer at colleges and literary societies, he has also been a guest on a wide variety of television and radio programs.

About my libraryBooks are an addiction, a passion, a promise.
