About meMy interests are many. For instance, I absolutely adore Cosgrove Hall's Animations of The Wind in the Willows. The photograph (right) shows the wonderful Mr Toad in his beloved Hall dabbling in chemistry.
Other things I love are books (there's a shock!), writing, art, theatre, comedy, singing, world music, animals and vegetarian cuisine.

About my libraryMy largely second-hand library reflects my interests rather well. It contains:
*A great many children's books (having trained as a Primary Teacher);
*Quite a number of books about the Beatles;
*A fair few books by and about Spike Milligan; and
*A growing number of linguistics books (as I am training to be a teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages:).

I've also catalogued my Mother's collection of Art and Craft books (see Jet) so I don't buy her anything she's already got.
