About me We are a Canadian couple who have been collecting for many years and are quite addicted to ideas. Our family loves to discuss and add new insights from our current reading to our view of the world. Cataloguing our books is a delightful revisiting to volumes that we haven't looked at for many years. We love to go to book places and events such as Hay-on-Wye in Wales (fantastic!) or the Green Valley Book Sale in West Virginia.

About my library We loved to collect books when our children were young in order to share the wonder of the world with them - hence the many nature guides and dinosaurs, etc. Our personal collections are centered on aviation, history, spirituality and travel. Religious affiliations..none..we consider ourselves to be modern free-spirits or as our children call
us..'Hippies without the drugs"

As you already have a book on the CF-100, by Page, I thought you also might be interested in "The Avro CF-100" by Larry Milberry.
I came across your library becaus not many have "Gifts of an Eagle." What a fascinating collection you guys have!
Hi,

I'm intrigued that you have a copy of the 417 Squadron history! That's a pretty limited edition and I have one as I worked there. Do you have any affiliation with the squadron?
Bonjour!

Just browsing the "Books You Share" and came across your profile. Nice to meet fellow Canadians!

Here's an open question I pose to all my LibraryThing-a-holics: if you were stranded on a desert island, which 5 books would you most want with you?

;-)

Cheers,
~app
I'm impressed. I have 1400-odd books catalogued so far - you two have 2000 and yet we only share 15. Here's to diversity!
