I just saw the last comment you left me on 1/25. This is the first time I came back to this site since 1/23.
I already own the first three items you mentioned. The last couple of books you mentioned I don't, though, so I'm going to purchase them.
Thanks for the recommendations. I'd never heard of IDEF0/td until you mentioned it. Interesting approach. It appears that one of those diagrams could become cluttered very quickly. I found a textual - no graphics whatsoever - treatment of the method on nsdl.org. I downloaded and saved a 10-page pdf; I'll read it within the next couple of days.
Thanks for your recommendations, Steve. If you have any other reading recommendations, I'd enjoy hearing about them.

I noticed that you have the book, "A Concise Guide to the IDEF0 Technique: A Practical Approach to..." listed in your library. I've been searching for this book for months. Amazon used to have it in stock but doesn't anymore and neither do any other sites I've searched. The phone number for the book's publisher has been disconnected. I cannot find contact information for either of the book's authors. Do you know where I might be able to find a copy I could purchase?
I'd appreciate any help you might be able to provide.
Best Regards,

I have a scanner/printer (HP 1510 All-In-One). It’s cheap, but seems to work fine. I use IrfanView (free at: http://www.irfanview.com/) to drive the scanner and format the image before saving it to my local drive. If the book is old and looks it, I may touch-up the image with Paint to remove cover tears, stains etc. before uploading it to LT. The whole process takes only a minute ( + touch-up time if any).
