About meDeacon Samuel Hall (3 February 1663 - 6 March 1740), farmer and church official at Cromwell and East Middletown (now Chatham), Connecticut. He served as deacon at Cromwell, and as clerk and deacon of the church at East Middletown. Hall was an early settler of East Middletown, where he owned a "large tract" of land.

Hall married first Sarah Hinsdale, and second Elizabeth Stocking.

About my libraryHall's library is as documented in his will (dated January, 1732), as given in ''A Digest of the Early Connecticut Probate Records'' III:278-279. An inventory of his estate was taken following his death on 6 March 1740, resulting in an appraisal of £1707/14/7.
