About my libraryThis summer '09 I'm going to first enter all my vintage Scholastic books, which I've been collecting for about 4 years; after that I'll enter all the other books in my library, both are for me, daunting tasks. I don't know how all of have been able to keep at it!

I put in only 178 books and ran out of speed. But it's important to me to have my books catalogued, especially the Scholastics because they're historical and delicate, and to my knowledge there's no comprehensive list of the T, TX, TK, TW, TJ, INC, and the first vintage scholastic books with an ISBN number. Library Thing is a perfect way to ensure these titles and their cover art are recorded for historical purposes. Also the community of vintage Scholastic collectors can compile a complete list of titles and the publisher's series identifiers.

Hi there - I added you to my list of interesting libraries because of the scholastic books. I read a lot of them as a kid and still own a few of them. They make me so nostalgic! It's a blast from the past seeing the books on your shelf. Thanks for sharing!
I got too careless... lazy... or mostly, rushed when packing, repacking, unpacking, and yet again repacking when leaving -- and now I still, again, don't know what books Adriano has. .

It's really cool that you are working on a list of the Scholastics -- it will be a useful addition to LibraryThing. :)
Hi! I was searching on the tag "maltshop" (I tag I use a lot!) and I found your 12 tagged books, some of which I hadn't heard of before. And I saw your review of "Hit Parade of Stories" -- very enjoyable review, and I'm going to put that book on my list of "to find someday."

Thanks!
Amy S.
Hi, I see we're both Joan Aiken fans. Ruth Arthur looks interesting by your tags, I'll have to try her out. Is she a British author?
