About meWe are professional dilettantes interested in most things literary/cultural as well as politics/political theory, philosophy, history and most other subjects. Civil servant and banker in our spare time.
About my libraryThree libraries - art, fiction and 'everything else'. Always running several steps ahead of shelf space. Art books are tessellated, the fiction and non-fiction separately alphebetised by author. The whole reflects all kinds of passing interests, and testifies to a lack of focus on anything in particular.

I have it because I'm a civil servant at the Cabinet Office (on loan from HM Treasury)
What's your excuse?
