About my libraryDon't you hate that stupid question: "What books would you take to a deserted island?" Well, I can tell you, it isn't so easy as that. It's more like, what would you read if there was nothing else? Much of my reading is gleaned from other people's luggage, at least until several large stashes of books were discovered among people living throughout the island.

These books are confirmed sightings. Covers here are matched to covers spotted on the show. When the correct cover is unavailable, a screenshot is used (until a better cover is found).

Sawyer quotes many books and makes many literary references, but unless we see the book in hand (or close) we cannot say for sure he's read it or owns it. Afterall, some of the references could easily be made to movies, or have entered mainstream pop culture.
