Ahh, fair enough - I can understand that. I don't really ever log into MSN or Facebook chat (although I do have accounts!), because I get too distracted, but I find that for convenient communication with specific persons (at specific non-working times) they are helpful :)
I'm not really worried about the privacy as such, it was more just convenience - never mind though, the opportunity passed us by! I'm quite happy messaging on here.

So, you like Phillip K Dick! My stepfather is a huge fan, and with his recommendation I am slowly working my way through the tales - I'm beginning with The Man in the High Castle, and The World that Jones Made.

I shall tell you a funny story of my stepfather and this particular author: At University, my stepfather was introduced to a guy who he had been told liked to read Phillip K Dick. So, in the hopes of finding a kindred spirit, despite his painfully inadequate social functioning levels, he approached this person and said enthusiastically "I hear you like Dick!". Now, this wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the fact that (unbeknownst to my poor stepdad) this guy was a homosexual. After a few shocked looks and an extremely hurried qualification that it was in fact Phillip K Dick that my stepfather was referring to, the two became great friends, and bonded in their love of one of the greatest writers of all time. :)
Ahoy there matey! I noticed our libraries have a bit in common! Also, you're a game designer, producer and writer? (Win!) What sort of games? I'm intrigued!
Great collection - we have quite a lot in common, I see. In looking at yours, I realized I'd forgotten to add a few of my favorites (how did I miss PK Dick?). I'll keep my eye on your library for interesting additions.
Thanks I'll definitely check him out.
Never heard of Jason. I've been fixated with Joe Hill, Alan Moore, and pretty much any graphic novel that has to do with zombies that I can get my hands on. French wise, I'm working my way through Anias Nin and Colette, you have to love those ladies...

What is this Jason person all about?
I'll agree with that, my favorite picture in the whole book was in the zombies vs robots - 1- ghost in the machines. It's just... Ahh. I don't know, visceral and lovely.

No, I have not read either. I've seen the movie A Scanner Darkly, which I enjoyed much despite the side effect of depression I was afflicted with. And I'd like to read Do Android's Dream of Electric Sheep I just haven't gotten the chance yet. I've been on a graphic novel/French lit-crit kick of late and have been neglecting most other types of book.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see if my local library has a copy of The Owl in Daylight.
Thanks for the add! I put you on my interesting lib. list when I noticed that you've read Story of the Eye and philip k. dick. Gooooood stuff.

I'm currently trying to read The man in the High Castle, but time..... Allows only so much. :/

In any case I pretty much adored Zomnibus, specially the 1st story, how'd you like it?
