one of my favorite quotes by Emerson (below posted by theoldman). thanks for the reminder
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and
the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and
endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others:
To leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child,
a redeemed social condition, or a job well done;
To know that even one other life has breathed because you lived.
-- This is to have succeeded."
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"You can complain because roses have thorns,
Or you can rejoice because thorns have roses."
-- Ziggy
Is this another name I should recognise from somewhere....lol. Thanks for the friend invite.
Jonathan Aycliffe fans unite!!!!!!!!
I'm glad that there is someone else out there who also likes Charles de Lint.
Faerie wars was a fantasticly fresh look at the world of Faerie and I hope he writes more.
I'm glad to see that I am not the only admirer of Natasha Cooper.Cannot understand why she is not more popular. Good stronge characters and involving story lines.
