Hi! Sorry I'll miss Kathy (tell her that I say "hello") but let's try to make lunch plans for the Dec. 17 meeting. I put in a request to attend. I'll let you know if anything changes. Hope all is well at HPPL.

Lori
Hi! I can't make the October meeting, the theme is "Jane Austen Continued" -- books that continue or have something to do with Austen books (i.e., Mr. and Mrs. Darcy). I hope to make the Dec. meeting "Thrillers in a Series." It's such a popular genre, should be a good discussion. Let me know if you'll be at that one.

Take care,

Lori
Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

Sorry I will miss you this time around. Maybe we can coordinate doing another meeting in the future and have lunch afterwards. Take care!
