About meWhat would we do with books? I think I came out of the womb with my nose stuck in a book.

I am in my early 40s, single, married, no children. "One bad relationship away from becoming a crazy cat lady!"
Not surprisingly, I like books that reflect my life's current status. Single women facing the 'middle age'. Among my favorite books are memoirs, as are fictional and non-fictional accounts of struggles with depression...you know, the fun trendy stuff authors are writing about and we are reading.

I've lived in the Seattle area for two years having moved here from Chicago where I lived for almosty 20 years. I work as a contractor in marketing progrsm/project management, currently with a large software company that everyone knows and loves (or not)....

About my libraryA lover of lists, nearly two years ago I started keeping my own of every book I've ever read...populated much by memory (all my books are currently in storage)...It's not even reached 500, so there certainly must be some missing! My library here is comprised primarily of books I liked or if not, I recogize their literary worth. There are dozen or so books included that I had initially omitted because I was embarassed to have read them---as long ago as it might have been e.g. The Bridges of Madison County.

Thanks for the recommendation - haven't read it yet. Just finished Junot Diaz's "the brief wondrous life of Oscar Diaz" - really great! Next book in French is Collette...
Hi-thanks for adding my library. Love the picture of your cat - orange cats are a favorite of mine. We have one elderly Siamese cat whose mission in life is to get outside - after a life of indoor indulgence, we think he might last 10 minutes before falling prey to just about anything. Anyway, I look forward to perusing your library. Take care, Pat
Yeah---how about it?! I guess it depends on what day it is if you ask me; today the books and the cats are without a doubt tipping the scales! I actually only have one cat---you can't be a crazy cat lady with just one cat...time to adopt more!
hi there. thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries. i added you as well. i am also one bad relationship away from becoming a crazy cat lady ;) thank god for books!
