About meA middle-aged public librarian and blogging addict. I'm using Library Thing to catalog the books I've read and enjoyed and am keeping, plus books I own that I plan to read. If I don't like a book, I won't keep it, so it won't be listed here.

About my libraryGeneral fiction, literary fiction, science fiction, mysteries and suspense, memoirs, history, film and tv, comics and cartoons, graphic novels, science, and some other things. Books not yet read, and there are plenty, do not have ratings. Reviews are cross-posted from my book review blog.

Sorry, this is a bit late. It's a very cool avatar indeed. And thanks for reading my blog! :)
Hi there! Always nice to find a fellow librarian here! I have one of those Lego folks, too. I keep meaning to post it as my photo, you've reminded me! It's not a Wonder Librarian, though - yours is very cool. :)
Cool to find you on here! I read Case Histories but not One Good Turn. Read When Will There Be Good News and liked that one also!
Currently reading The Hotel On The Corner Of Bitter And Sweet by Jamie Ford
I read your post on the "In what order are you entering?" thread and noticed you mentioned keeping a Reading Journal since 1965. What an accomplishment! I'm curious, though - how do you keep your journal? Do you write in book summaries or your thoughts on each book, or just title and author? I've been keeping a log of books I've read for about two years, but only list the title, author, and date finished.
