About me AKA Starseeker from UV and various other boards. Well, what can I say? I am a mix blooded Canadian, currently working in Beijing. I can speak Mandarin, English, and understand Japanese, Fujianese, and Cantonese up to a certain extent. I love books, and I am often torn during business trips to either save space in my luggage for books/mags/manga or another tech gadget. I seriously wished I had the power of paper masters to fold paper into tiny bite size chunks and re open them at my leisure. If you are curious about anything related to Asian culture, I'll be happy to answer.

PS: I am getting sick of trashy memoirs and reports without solid background research about China. One shouldn't write what one doesn't know, and one shouldn't pretend one knows more than he/she does.

About my library I don't have most of my books with me, since I am working in BJ right now. All of my English mangas are in Vancouver, and I can't really post any of my Chinese books here. My interests (as evident in the library) : Psychology, neurobiology, anthropology, manga, marketing, cultural studies, mystery, true crime, language, business, sociology, philoshophy, etc.
