I agree so much with you re the Wuthering Heights 2009 dvd with Tom Hardy,. At the moment I am watching the 1998 edition, which I have never seen, and contains mostly unknown actors. I rather like it as it does not hold back at all about the characters esp Heathcliff. I bought the DVD of the 2009 movie after seeing as a series on tv, I had never seen Tom Hardy before, and thought he made an amazing Heathcliff, and just adore it, watch it often. I love the book, and can never agree with people who disliked the personalities. It to me is just all normal emotions, just put together all together in a number of people in one book.
And I just adore your comment about the sheer poetry contained within the book.

Regards
Vicki
Hey there,

Got the books you chose for me yesterday. They sound really interesting while one of them my sister has read and recommended already, so I guess they were a good choice. :P Looking forward to read them asap.

Merry Christmas,
Marcel
