Great Lewis self-portrait. I really admire WL, tho it is sometimes damnably difficult to read his stuff. He is one of the most difficult of his era. He makes few if any concessions to his readers. He was just as merciless with his contemporaries. With the exception of T.E. Hulme who turned his world upsidedown every now and then. The SELF-CONDEMNED is one of his easier reads. He must be considered, in the end, I think, an aquired taste. I'd be interested in your opinion.
