About meI'm a self-professed bookaholic. I'm a big fan of literary fiction, but I like to sprinkle pop fiction in, too, on occasion. I prefer fiction to nonfiction, but I'll pick up a nonfiction book a few times a year.

My bookloving spills over into my profession, too - I'm a librarian by day.

I'm the mom of one booklover (and one that isn't a total convert yet) and married to a fellow bookaholic.

Oh, and all this bookloving takes place in Houston, TX.

About my libraryThe books included here are any in my household that I claim as "mine" (still have at least one bookshelf to conquer) and anything that has made it into my bookstack. These include books my husband and daughter have read and expressed an interest in me reading, as well. My husband's become community property and aren't tagged differently, but anything that my daughter has passed to me are tagged with her name (same for any other books that must be returned to their proper owner). Books borrowed from the library are tagged *library*.

Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy the books. I so wanted to get you The Sunne in Splendour, but I couldn't make it work within the dollars allotted. It was recommended by a friend who loves historical fiction. I hope you get to read it someday (after you finish the SantaThing books that is).
Noticed you liked Tim Gautreaux, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's similar to Gautreaux's work (Tim Gautreaux actually directed my master's thesis). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
