The architecture is that of Henry Vaughan of Boston, and the stained-glass windows were executed by Connick Studios of Boston, in consultation with Ralph Adams Cram, architect. The pipe organ, a three-manual instrument of 60 ranks, was built in 1963 by the M.P. Moller Company. St. John's is an Episcopal Church and member of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.
