About meHi
A bit about me; my room is overflowing with books, without which I would go crazy. Sometimes it's so full of dust tomes, it gets hard to walk! I also love to write and have posted some stuff on fictionpress.com Feel free to check it out!! I am a total science freak and want to be a Chemist. I also go rock climbing, play the harpsichord, and eat lots of ice cream! One day I want to get to Svulbard or better yet, Antarctica.
Thanks for stopping by my page!

Have you read Kristen Britain's Green Rider series? Those are some of my top favorites: Green Rider, First Rider's Call, and the High King's Tomb. Very highly recommended epic fantasy.
Noticed you liked I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's mental illness and also a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

I love your Svalbard sign! That's brilliant! I recently re-read that series... man, I'd forgotten how incredibly heart-wrenching that ending was... OW! I cried something like three times while reading Spyglass (Lee was one of my favorites, so naturally I cried when he died; when Will found/lost his father; and at the very end). Did you ever read Susan Cooper's "Seaward"? Similar ending, but with a little more hope to it than "Spyglass". Talk to you later?
Ooh, have I not added The Mists of Avalon to my library? Yeah, I've read it but none of the sequels yet. It took me aaaaages but it's definately worth a read - the author has an interesting take on the legendry, and it's all from Morgan le Fay's point of view. I've never read The Lost Years of Merlin though, but thanks I'll check it out! :)
You play the harpsichord? Okay, I'm SO adding you as a friend. Wooo for Londoners! Thanks for the comment, your library is really cool! :) I'm planning on editing out a few book in my library at the mo, because since I don't have a paying account I am limited to a ridiculously small amount.
I'm going to look into that cherub series!
Don't worry, I definitely know what you mean about Twilight.
When I first heard about it, I thought it sounded ridiculous, but, since all of my friends were obsessing over it, I decided to give it a try. I hated it the first time. Then, one of my friends managed to strap me down and force me to read it while keeping and open mind (and ignoring the wierd parts) and I must say, it was not bad. Personally, I like something a bit more action-packed, but Stephanie Meyer does have a unique voice. (When you can over look all the parts about being madly in love, and how unrealistic the whole thing is)
Hmmmm...well my reading list has been as boring as a blank white wall lately, I've got finals and like five different books that I need to read for classes. It suffices to say that I haven't been doing a lot of relaxing lately :). I really want to check out the new Eoin Colfer book though, I heard about it the other day, I think it will be pretty good. My brother is still reading the latest Alex Rider, so I haven't gotten a chance to knick it from him yet. I've been doing a lot of classics, and adult reads lately, I finally got back to reading "Bel Canto", its a good book, exciting, but not in the whole secret spy mission way. Although, I guess it does have some of that...I finally sat down and read the Twilight series, it was pretty good! Did you read those?
i haven't been on librarything in ages!
what's new? have your favorite books changed?
how do u upload your own picture???
Hey!

Wow Keeping it Real looks really interesting! I'll have to see if I can get my hands on it.

As for a recommendation, I really enjoyed Wildwood Dancing (Juliet Marillier). It's a historical fantasy. The romance is really good too.

If your dropping by this page (my page), please will you leave your favourite books, so that I can expand my reading?

THANKS,

Hey!

About "So Yesterday", I found it interesting. The end was a tad confusing, so plan to eventually re-read to sort out what happened. I thought it was good, but not as good as his other stuff. then again, I'm really big on paranormal/fantasy/science fiction, so that may be why. But, yeah, I definately would recomend it, especially if you're interested in consumerism and such (which I am).

Hope that helps

So what Artemis Fowl book is your favorite?
Hey! Thanks for your comment on my profile! I've already read the Uglies Trilogy, but The Named looks pretty awesome, thanks for the recommendation (I'm always looking for new books to read!).

I also can't wait til the next Max Ride book. I need to get my hands on the other Percy Jackson ones (I've only read the first.)
