About meI am an accountant/bookkeeper from Wilmington, Delaware. I have always loved to read and I love Library Thing---so much better than keeping an excel spreadsheet of which books I've read! My husband says I am president of the nerds club; you can tell he doesn't share my love of the printed word! We have three children. I generally read only historical fiction. I occasionally throw in historical non fiction, when a subject really turns me on. I also read some sci fi here and there. When I get totally historied out, I move on to some contemporary stuff, but never for long! I tend to read one of two ways. Either I will get stuck in a specific time period and read anything I can find on that subject, or I get stuck on an author and read everything they ever wrote.

About my libraryI have been reading forever, but have decided to add only books that I have read since starting my library thing, so I don't list ones I've read previous to June 2008. I hope this will inspire me to reread all those great ones that came before!

Thank you for "A Reliable Wife". The book arrived today. I can't wait to read and review it.

Welcome to LT! I just joined a few days after you did, and I noticed your post recommending Norah Lofts' books in the Historical Fiction thread. I adore Norah Lofts, and had recommended her works to readers in several threads. The only drawback is that her books quite often reflect real life -- that is they don't have the stereotypical happy endings of much historical fiction. You haven't included any info about you, so I don't know how much else we'd have in common, aside from our liking Norah Lofts.
